Ghost Recon Wildlands review

Ghost Recon Wildlands takes Tom Clancy’s franchise and gives it a new spin where it’s not based on future tech and linear missions where you’re deployed, get the job done and get out. This time you play as one of four Ghosts as you enter the narco-state of Bolivia to take down a cartel leader called El Sueno. This guy’s a bad dude covered in tattoos and seemingly in fashion because cartels seem to be ‘cool’ right now, but of course you can’t just go straight in and get him, you have to take down the faction leaders that lead...

Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege review

Rainbow Six Siege is the second game I’ve played in a month that doesn’t have a campaign but instead lets you train in a variety of single player situations where you can hone your skills and learn about everything you can do, and then jump into multiplayer to try and win the day and beat a team of randoms. Loading the game up for the first time is a treat, as you’re welcomed by one of the best looking intros you’ll see in a game so far. It’s very realistic, with full performance capture of the lady who’s briefing you...

Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Ghost Recon Future Soldier release date

Ubisoft’s reboot of the Ghost Recon games has been delayed until the final quarter of 2011 – Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier Release Date is October 30th 2011. This may also delay the multiplayer beta that shipped with Splinter Cell Conviction. I don’t mind it slipping – but it better be good! Hot from E3 is the news that Ghost Recon Future Soldier will use Xbox Kinect heavily for some seriously intensive usage. If you thought Kinect was just about party games, perhaps it’s time to think again. So far we’ve seen real-time Kinect footage showing how you can...

Tom Clancys HAWX

Tom Clancys HAWX review

Tom Clancy games have seen us doing a number of different things over the years. We’ve sneaked around as Sam Fisher, infiltrated urban environments in the Middle East in Ghost Recon and had shoot-outs in casinos in Rainbow Six Vegas. HAWX takes the franchise into the skies as you pull some serious Gs for a company called Artemis in 2014. Of course, during the game it turns out Artemis have greedy plans of their own so you and some of your wingmen turn the tables on them and end up fighting the company that used to pay you big bucks....

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 screenshot

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 review

The first Rainbow Six Vegas game ended on an annoying cliffhanger and was an enjoyable single-player experience. You breached banged and cleared through a number of glitzy locations and back streets controlling two AI team-mates as you went your merry destructive way. However, it was the multiplayer mode that lasted the distance in a similar vein to Call of Duty 4. This sequel doesn’t really do much more in the single player campaign – except it does tie up all the loose ends from Vegas 1, and once again, it does deliver if you play it on Xbox Live. The...
