Bond cast joins 007 Legends

007 Legends seems to be getting full support from the cast and crew of movies past. Richard Kiel will be reprising his role as Jaws as well as Michael Lonsdale providing the likeness and voice of Hugo Drax in the Moonraker mission. Roy Kinnear is also showing his face as MI6’s Chief of Staff and Bond Girl Naomie Harris will be making an appearance in the Skyfall DLC. The Queen, however, won’t be jumping out of a helicopter with Daniel Craig when the game launches on October 19th 2012. Buy 007 Legends now New: Buy 007 Legends from Amazon.com Related:...

007 Legends joins Her Majestys Secret Service

Activision have revealed yet another level from their forthcoming 007 Legends game. This time Daniel Craig relives George Lazenby’s only outing as James Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. You’ll be skiing through snowy landscapes, shooting at helicopters and fighting Blofeld in a cable car but there’s no word yet if you’ll be trying to have your wicked way with all the ladies dressed in a kilt. It’s also been revealed Skyfall will be a free bonus DLC mission after the game’s release on October 16th. Buy 007 Legends now New: Buy 007 Legends from Amazon.com Related: 007 Legends,...

Play Moonraker in 007 Legends

Great news if you’re a James Bond fan and your favourite one was the one in space. Yes Moonraker is the first of six classic Bond inspired missions revealed by Activision in their recently announced 007 Legends game. During the mission you’ll find yourself on Hugo Drax’s space station trying to stop him releasing satellites that will poison the Earth in order for his ‘beautiful people’ to start again from scratch. There is however no word yet if you’ll be able to attempt ‘re-entry’ at the end of the mission. Buy 007 Legends now New: Buy 007 Legends from Amazon.com...

Goldeneye 007 Reloaded

Goldeneye 007 Reloaded review

Goldeneye 007: Reloaded is an HD remake of the Wii re-imagining of the original Goldeneye on the N64. Still with me? Good. If you’re not aware of what’s going on with it, basically it brings the Goldeneye story into the modern era with Daniel Craig instead of Pierce Brosnan and different level design that pays homage to the movies but shouldn’t actually be considered as an HD version of the N64 game because it’s not. Whilst it’s not what I would call a premium FPS it still delivers some fun action moments although to be honest, the whole package is...

James Bond Blood Stone

Review of James Bond Blood Stone

I thought it was strange that we had a brand new Goldeneye game last month for the Nintendo Wii. I can quite understand if James Bond Blood Stone for PS3 is equally confusing. Not only have Activision re-imagined the N64 classic thirteen years after the original; they’ve also gone and released a totally new and original Bond game for the HD consoles starring Daniel Craig. James Bond 007 Blood Stone is a new story written and created by Bruce Feirstein exclusively for this game, it’s not linked to any of the movies or books. According to Wikipedia Bruce has written/co-written three...

Goldeneye 007 review

Has it really been thirteen years since Rare’s original Nintendo 64 release of Goldeneye? I will never forget the day when I first caught a peek of the N64 in person; it was around October 1997 and as I watched over the shoulders of a group of teenagers playing a four player Goldeneye deathmatch – I knew I had to own this console. There’s not much to be said about the original Goldeneye that you won’t have heard elsewhere a million times before. Put simply it was the best first person shooter of it’s generation and totally changed the worlds...
