Crysis 3 review

I recently replayed Crysis 2 before playing Crysis 3 and I’m actually also playing through the original Crysis on the PC with everything turned up full. It actually still stands up today even though it’s 7 years old! Crysis 3 lets you play as Prophet for the first time after he literally rose from the ashes at the end of Crysis 2. The game begins with his old squad mate Michael ‘Psycho’ Sykes breaking him out of his prison to get help with putting an end to the Cell Corporation enslaving humans after they can’t afford their energy, but it...

Crysis 2 review

After playing through the somewhat tongue-in-cheek Bulletstorm, Crysis 2 comes as something of a culture shock as it’s the complete opposite. This is one very serious first-person shooter full of gravitas and without an ounce of humour. That’s not to say it’s not impressive though, because it is. Here’s my take on the single player action. Before I get to the story let me just say that this is one of the best looking FPSs I’ve ever played on a console. On the PS3 the game looks almost photo-realistic when your submarine is hit by a mysterious missile which floods...

Crysis 2 release date

It’s certainly been a long time coming but we’re finally within reach of Crysis 2 for the Xbox 360. From the developers of Far Cry; Crysis was one of the most popular open world first person shooters of 2007. Some of you may be surprised to hear that to this day, PC graphic cards are still ranked in power according to how well they can run the original Crysis for PC. Such was the quality of the visuals and the power needed to run the game with advanced graphical features, reportedly most players still haven’t experienced Crytek’s original vision. This...

Crysis Warhead

It’s been confirmed that the highly anticipated next instalment of Crysis is heading to us very soon. September 19th is the Crysis Warhead release date to mark on your calendar, the low £19.99 price is certain to attract FPS loving pc owners everywhere and this time the game has been optimized to run on a wider range of PC’s. I’m pretty thankful for that as the original Crysis caused my graphics card to overheat, even on the games lowest graphic settings. To compliment the already top notch single and multiplayer action in Crysis, we have a new TeamInstantAction match type...
