The Project CARS release date has shifted to April 2nd 2015. Available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the game has been delayed slightly in order for the mechanics to do some fine tuning under the bonnet before people get to take it for a full test drive. Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios Ian Bell is quoted as saying “Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS, but we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”.
Project CARS includes the largest track roster of any recent racing game, has a freeform authentic career mode, dynamic time of day and weather effects and community features that let you play the game you want to play it – according to the publishers Bandai Namco Games. When I review it, I’ll let you know if I agree.
