Capcom’s confirmed it’s making Dead Rising 2 for 2009. The sequel will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and will feature lots of zombie mutilation in the gambling haven of Fortune City. Let’s just hope that silly save system from the original has been well and truly dropped.

wow i cant wait to buy this game when it comes out…… it better have multiplayer because u get bored playing by yourself……
game looks sweet and its for the ps3 so its all good… and yes coop would be sick or sum kind of multiplayer online and offline.
ya Co-Op would be sick for a game like this and i cant wait for t to come out i expect great things to be in this game and be alot mor fun then the first one….the first one was fun but got boring after a little while! so hopefully they will make this one more interesting!

The first game was a drop title, so you can’t really expect it to be perfect. But a co-op system of anykind, be it split screen, or online, would be very cool.

it might be dropped for ps3 it has 16 player online 2 offline it can hold over 8000 zombies on screen at once and it is out september
There has only been a confirmed actual date of release in Europe so far, which is September 25th 2009, as mentioned above. They haven’t leaked a concise or confirmed release date for North America yet, however they are positive it will be sometime before the end of 2009. Either way it won’t be very long yet!!

dead rising was incredible. one of the best games i’ve ever played. i seriously hope the second matches up to the standards of the first game

Yes, the creators of the game said that there will be a co op or multiplayer option in the game but they have said that they don’t want to go into details.
From what I’ve been reading, and hearing, It comes on on the 25th of September for the UK. As for us in the states, It doesnt look so good.
