EA Sport’s long awaited new Madden Game finally ships this month. Building on last year’s game which featured an easy control scheme which allowed the whole family to be able to pick up and play what is essentially one of the most notoriously complicated sports games. Madden 09 Wii brings that back but has included the ability to direct the action how you want by pointing the Wii Remote to the screen to choose the receiver you want to pass to.
The interesting looking new 5 on 5 gameplay mode which looks to deliver some fast paced action gaming on a smaller more constrained field is sounding cool too. We’re eagerly awaiting the Madden NFL 09 Wii release date on August 12th as it sounds like it’s going to be this season’s best football game on Wii.

I’m really excited about the Premier League this year. World Cup was fun, but the Premier League is so much more fun to follow. Just wish it wasn’t so difficult to follow in the States. It’s getting better though. :)
