*sigh* I thought Rockstar would know better than making it use Games for Windows Live… that thing is a shocking copy of XBox Live, and with me not liking Xbox, I have to say Xbox LIVE is not bad.
But the game will still own for sure, Gears of War PC did and it ran on GfWL… better if it didn’t, but it does.

Unbelievable, pay to play online, that is so BS man,
have to pay some sh!tty subscription when you have payed for the game already, yeahhh right

Hmmm. Let’s not get upset over something called speculation. I could see it being avail. for both single, mmo-live, but there are alot of PC users that just want to play a game. I’m in an area that net access is just not there 24/7. I’ve seen the game, it’s okay. It is NOT the end all/be all and with the hype gone, hard to justify that wonderfully new 60 buck price tag. It’s still going to be a huge investment in the hardware dept and in this economy, my hard earned cash is still in that special spot; MY wallet. I’ve been holding this long; think I’ll just step WAYYYY the frick back and see how they treat the customers that have waited the longest.

Tell you this, I don’t believe I’ve ever been ******around so long by a game company so they could get their $$$ hype over for one game. Remember, everyone has been saying release it already since October,2007.

    Yawn…

GTA IV sux. Flying was one of my favorite things in previous GTA titles. The only thing flyable in GTA IV is a helicopter. Which sux anyways. So PC graphics or not…the game itself aint that great.

    SpaZ?!!?
GTA is all about the gameplay and endless fun. NO, it doesn’t have tuning and *****, AND NO, it doesn’t have 12421234 planes to fly around but WHO CARES?!? You have a cool physics engine and a new GTA story to spend a hell of a good time with! And when did graphics become the most distiguishabe feature of a GTA game? WTF?!?
SO STOP complaning, the game is more than awesome, compared to anything else out there!
Most of you are going to download it for free, the SAME MOTHERFUC*ERS that caused the PC game industry to step back and let the consoles up front because the game developers prefer to get their buck with the consoles first, not get cracked by some PIMPLED LOOSERS on mommys PC! DAMN YOU BITCHES!
    RETARDS

I think GTA IV will be fine on pc. True we get it late but look at the bright side all the product testing and bugs should be ironed out and we benefit from upgrades and mods and extra pc features like dx10 graphics. Paying to play online is not a problem and can be bypassed if you crack the software so it can connect to servers other than micro(penis)soft ones. Once its released on pc it will be open season on the game code so expect to see some very cool stuff popping up from mod enthusiasts. I for one cant wait to get my sticky fingers into the game code and rustle up some custom maps and game mods. Admittedly the required pc specification will shaft the low / med end users into not playing or upgrading but saying that if you have a fast single core chip (3.2Ghz or above) with a gig or two of ram and at least an 8800GT i’m sure ul get a playable frame rate (30+) at an acceptable resolution (1024×768). Infact its possible they may even suggest a lower min spec on the box but i dred to think what sacrifices ul get n how dissapointed ud feel looking at the game running at <15 fps on an nvidia 6/7 series card with all the effects at minimum and the res at 800 x 600 eeeeeek!

  14. T-i-A says:

LOL @ GTA GRAPHICS. They suck. The only demanding thing about this game will be CPU usage due to the improved AI. But if you don’t have at least a nvidia 6/7 series card, why would you even look forward to ANY PC game?

And one more thing, PC games are moddable. There will be alot more planes, cars, and anything else your heart desires.

But I can’t say i’m not looking forward to it.
And hell yea am I stealing it! Buying is for pussies.

  15. Rene says:

    oww yea,,,

    multiplayer rocks :)

    so buy ur ass

Dude you are an idiot. If you set the game to kill (All options full open), GTA becomes crazy demanding on everything; your CPU for AI and physics, hard drive for textures, models and behavior models (Damage, sounds etc) and videocard because something has to render all that goodness with anti-aliasing and an assload of filters. Your incompetence comes mostly from your last sentence though.
