The Nintendo Wii turned five years old this year and has been one of the biggest successes in video gaming history. With Nintendo busy preparing their new console, you may wonder if this is a good time to invest in a Wii system. Well I’m an honest guy and I will not pretend that the Nintendo Wii is the hot system that it once was, however that isn’t to say that you should disregard the Wii altogether.
With five years worth of games at a great price, Wii is an ideal first gaming platform for young children between 5 and 8. The system is cheap, safe and easy to use. Best of all there is no monthly subscription fee for online use and those of you that are already Netflix subscribers can enjoy unlimited streaming with the Netflix Wii Channel.
